The state of California is offering a rebate for every generated watt of power produced by a permitted and approved system.
Additionally, tax credits and other incentives apply to PV systems tied into the utility grid. Rebates are available for individual residences and businesses. Systems can be designed from stand alone, (no rebate for battery systems) to large utility tie systems that feed electricity back to the power supply company, SDGE etc. or combination hybrid systems that will supply emergency power for critical loads during a blackout.
